With this project, during the year 2019-2020, the protection relays in the Luz del Sur distribution area will be renewed for maximum protection and control of its conventional distribution substations.
Among the benefits for Luz del Sur are:
- Ultra accurate flaw detection with 0.2s accuracy class
- Unwanted trips in conventional distribution substations due to undetected ground faults will be avoided, thanks to ARCTEQ's multi-criteria algorithm for protection in isolated electrical systems.
- Maximum communication through protocols IEC 61850, GOOSE, DNP3, MODBUS RTU / TCP, IEC 101,103, 104, etc.
- Recording of up to 100 oscillographic records at maximum resolution for failure analysis.
- Detection of up to 15000 different events in each of the electrical faults.
