We implemented the new SCADA system for Engie Energía Peru in the existing Control Center. It included the new configuration and implementation of the SCADA system for the remote measurement of equipment installed in substations in Peru.
The installation of specialized software was carried out on virtualized servers with communications equipment, data concentrators and intermediate elements. Among the specialized activities in the SCADA System, they covered areas of knowledge in: Communications, server configurations, specialized software for substations from different suppliers, international cybersecurity standards, national data exchange standards with COES.
Factory acceptance test protocols, development of acceptance test protocols and execution of protocols that comply with the quality and functionality parameters defined by Engie Energia Peru were developed.
They had the flexibility to carry out remote work, complying with the biosecurity and health measures established by government regulations.
With this implementation, Engie Energía Perú managed to obtain a renewed, optimized and efficient SCADA System to work with virtualized resources. A system for sending remote alarms by email and sms. Capabilities to bring the system to the palm of the hands on cell phones through the web and AppMovil.
