PROCETRADI performed the upgrade of the SCADA system according to best practice recommendations and international standards. Likewise, the entire system was reviewed and hours of support and maintenance were performed to ensure proper operation. 

In this project, Minera Yanacocha required a modern SCADA system with the necessary support and adequate response in case of any incident. Improving the availability of its system, diagnosing its SCADA system and preparing reports with recommendations for new trends.

The company had an old version of the SCADA system which, as a recommendation to improve the operation and availability of the system, was upgraded to the latest version from the manufacturer, including the associated services, migration and migration tests of the current version of the SCADA system.

The system upgrade brings with it improvements in the version, corrections of previous versions, new applications, compatibility with external systems, among others.

Among the benefits obtained from Minera YANACOCHA we have:

In this way, the company was able to have a support and maintenance program that guarantees to improve the availability of the signals sent to the COES and to reduce the response time to correct a failure in the SCADA system.
