We implemented the first smart metering project using PLC – TWACS technology that uses the existing electrical network and crosses the Medium and Low Voltage network, allowing the client to manage LV and MV equipment, as needed.
More than 5000 meters (single-phase, three-phase and reclosers) were supplied for their reading and control, destined for Distribution Electrical Substations, reclosers and Low Voltage end customers.
Stages of the project:
– Basic and detail engineering
– Supply of substation communications equipment and more than 5000 smart meters
– Assembly and installation of communications equipment and smart meters in SED’s and clients in BT
– Equipment and meter configuration
– SAT tests and commissioning of the project
– Staff training
